Where to follow 'me' and my art shops :)
For the last five+ years or so I have been neglecting my own art and shops while helping other artists to promote their work online.
My reasoning was manifold, as I was seeing great artwork by many artists who simply were having a hard time listing editing and selling their art online.
I focus on clean family friendly art so the more like minded artists I met the more consumed I became with trying to find venues to help them out and gradually lost time to even paint or illustrate my own works.
Due to health issues mostly as well we traveling and family matters, I devoted most of my online time to other artists and kept my own 'stuff' on the back burner, often only using it for samples to show others what they needed to do.
Well now this is 2014 and I have been finding many of my older sites, some which haven't had a post or edit in years and decided that to start the new year off, I am going to work on updating all my old sites and repost most of my own art, much of which has either been offline awaiting editing or never has been posted before, along with what has.
I hope you like my art and follow along as I know I need to do alot to organize so I am now slowly filling up a new site just for my own art, lol, kind of like how I started out 7-8 years ago but then got swamped with friends wanting to share their art on my other site, so soon it was a social site rather than my own art site. Newer members at one point asked why they were seeing more of my art on than theirs, not realizing it was initially my own personal art site and so embarrassed and thinking I wanted to be fair, deleted alot of my own work from my own site and began featuring other artists works.
What was unfair about that was i was paying for the site, doing all the work and gradually losing my own art in the process. Now its time for me to begin to show my own work again and get it all back online.
This blog is going to be for my art, i think, although I have already lent out my tags for other artists, so when you look up newly-listed-art in searches, dont be surprised to see another variety of artists along side me as we are all kind of bonded with a common purpose which is to present family friendly art and hopefully make a few sales along the way.
